Do you know how hard it is to find a Tinkle book here in Dubai? I smuggle Tinkle books from India and will have to read the same book over and over until I visit India again. I like it when people explain stories using pictures and also gives us an insight into many settings and spaces. The history of comics has stumbled across different paths in different cultures. Scholars have discovered the pre-history of comics that goes as far as the Lascaux cave. The cave is located in the department of Dordogne in the southern part of France. It consisted of several paintings done by early humans. By the mid 20th century, comics flourished, particularly in the U.S., Western Europe, and Japan.
You probably have figured that my favorite comic is Tinkle. Apart from that, I also enjoy reading The Wimpy Kid. In Tinkle, I like Suppandi because of this one particular story. Suppandi’s master one day had bought a bottle of phenyl, and told Suppandi that “you always have to use this bottle when you are cleaning the floor.’’ After a few days, Suppandi’s master came and asked why did the bottle of phenyl finish so fast? He told his master that he had actually used phenyl to wash the vegetables to remove the germs instead!
My opinions on the future of comics are that we will soon be reading webcomics or using augmented and virtual reality to read them. I would rather prefer this than buying a comic book because if a kid spends all of his allowance on 5 books but now wants one more book, then he can’t buy it anymore. However, he can use his mother’s phone to read unlimited comics without having to burn a hole in his pocket and spend all of his allowance.
